## Notes
Today I stopped by the VRC here at PSU and talked with... I think her name is Megan... and she helped me look through a few resources available for financial and housing services.
- ODVA Emergency Grant - is a once in a lifetime grant up to $5000 for veterans
- Financial Wellness Center - is a financial support program at PSU that offers courses on tuesdays and thursdays for budgeting and the like
- Scholarships360 - is a nonprofit that is a hub for scholarships
- PSU Scholarship Portal
- Hardship Fund - I need to ask Megan about this as I struggled to find anything specifically with that name
- VRC Workstudy - is an option for students taking 8 credit hours to make some money
---
- VA Community Resource Center - is somewhere I could get some more help with this
- PSU Student Housing - there are flyers all over campus offering cheap pet-friendly housing for cheap priced either monthly or by term
- 211.org - offers plenty of resources
- SSVF - Primarily meant for homeless or those under threat of eviction, but I called anyway to see if they could help. I left a message and should get a call tomorrow morning.
Thats all I could muster while at the VRC as theyre closing in five minutes.
