I told him that I'm really proud of him for reaching out to help and for how active he is at home and in his community. We did manage to get the roof raised and secured ready for the tin roofing that is getting here tomorrow. We do need to extend the roof in both directions to give better shade to the freezers and the door to the shop. I want him to write me a list so that I can start to tackle other things for him. I get the feeling that he just wants me here to be with him, and I really appreciate being needed. I've been trying to keep busy in my off time. Yesterday [[Vinny]] and [[Larry]] and had a good night bar hopping. We all went into the [[Moose Lodge 871]] for the first time because dad was working that night. He didn't mention it but he rebuilt the wheelchair ramp for that place of which vinny was very impressed it seemed. We played some pool and said our goodbyes as we left for a game of shuffle board at [[Mingles]]. There was a cute new server there that was on her last day of training and we were her first customers. I am realizing now that I didnt give her a tip, Larry was buying my drinks so I assume he tipped generously because he is a very giving person. Being here with my dad is making me realize a lot about myself. I need to be more organized and to plan things out. This trip has inspired me in thinking of details and logistics about travel that feels as though I'm remembering something I already knew.
